Call them at (804) 226-1981. It a National Historic Site, a National Park employee or volunteer should answer. The main Tredegar building houses a small iron-works display. It's part of the much larger American Civil War Museum, which occupies much of the demolished part of the former Iron Works. The Civil War Museum is immediately adjacent, and much larger than the remaining Tredegar building. Some huge Iron Works hardware (pumps, compressors, etc) lie scattered outside the Tredegar building.
