When it comes to late-night television, Seth Meyers knows the future is largely out of your control. Meyers, who has hosted “Late Night” on NBC for over a decade, spoke on this week’s episode of the “Armchair Expert” podcast about dealing with the uncertainty that comes with hosting a program.

On Thursday, Colbert shocked his studio audience, social media and Hollywood with the news that the long-running late night talk show will end in May. Colbert, who has hosted “The Late Show” since taking over from David Letterman 10 years ago,

"At some point, the ecosystem might not support it," Meyers said of his talk show in an interview recorded before the cancellation of Stephen Colbert's "Late Show."
