Speaker Mike Johnson is facing pressure over his decision to adjourn the House of Representatives before members could vote on releasing government files related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The House GOP conference, which included some of the Louisiana Republican’s key allies, was in full rebellion over the spiraling Jeffrey Epstein situation.
