Old Navy will build a new 55,000-square-foot flagship at Herald Towers in the heart of New York City’s Herald Square.

Along with the appeal of Herald Square, Old Navy President and CEO Haio Barbeito stressed the importance of staying in New York, which, according to him, attracts 60 million visitors each year.

The retail lease for the Old Navy location is reportedly the largest in New York City so far this year. For 2024, Old Navy sales were up 2% year-over-year to $8.4 billion. Comparable sales were up 3%.
