The wife of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, a Maryland man who immigration officials said was mistakenly deported to a prison in El Salvador, is pleading with the Trump administration to "stop playing political games" and bring her husband home.

The Kilmar Abrego Garcia case has put Maryland in the national spotlight and tests the power of all three branches of federal government.

A federal judge said Tuesday that she will order sworn testimony by Trump administration officials to determine if they complied with her orders to facilitate the return of Kilmar Abrego Garcia, who was mistakenly deported to a notorious El Salvador prison.
