Cincinnati Bengals first-round pick Shemar Stewart didn't need long to make an impact at training camp. On just the second day after ending his holdout and agreeing with the Bengals on his rookie contract, Stewart was a notable force for the defense on Monday.

Monday, July 28, saw the Bengals in pads for the first time this training camp, and that came 10 days and six practice sessions away from the club's preseason opener at the Philadelphia Eagles on Aug. 7.

This is the first real, conventional offseason Cincinnati’s offensive core has had together, free of injuries, rehab or contract disputes interfering with who is actually out on the field. On top of the Bengals’ big three being out there,
