Donald Trump’s lawyers turned to the nation’s highest court to call off Friday’s sentencing in his hush money case in New York.

The president-elect is asking the Supreme Court to halt the sentencing after both Judge Juan Merchan and an appeals court refused.

The justice claims the phone call was about an ex-law clerk, not Trump's attempts to block sentencing in his hush money case
