The talent manager died at 48 of a form of skin cancer as the singer and TV host has canceled tapings and concerts as the news was revealed.

Dan Hollis, coroner for Silver Bow County, confirmed the form of skin cancer as Blackstock's cause of death to Entertainment Weekly; the manner of death was listed as natural. Blackstock, who died on Aug. 7 at the age of 48, passed peacefully surrounded by family at his home in Butte, Mont.
