Organizers of a free Lady Gaga concert in Rio de Janeiro said the event drew more than 2 million to Copacabana Beach.

At 10:10 p.m., with a 25-minute delay, Lady Gaga took the stage at Todo Mundo No Rio in Brazil and gave a performance lasting more than two hours - a display of excellence that moved the audience of 2 million-plus people and the artist herself.

Her free concert on Rio de Janeiro’s Copacabana Beach was not disrupted. The police said a group had planned to attack it with improvised explosives.
