Iowa State crashed the top five of the latest College Basketball Power Rankings this week for the first time and Florida moved to its highest ranking (No. 3) of the season after high profile flops from UCLA and Kentucky last week in the CBS Sports Classic.

A 12-0 start to the 2024-25 campaign has put the Florida basketball team on a meteoric ride toward the top of the college basketball rankings in what has been a dominating first two months of the season for the Gators.

Leading the way in the latest power rankings is Oregon, who is ranked in the Top 10 by both the AP and the Coaches. The Ducks, in the Big Ten for the first time, also won the football conference championship earlier this year.
