Colorado Buffaloes football coach Deion Sanders nearly died in May, and now he's here to raise awareness about the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

Outside of Jackson State's pandemic-shortened spring season in 2021, Sanders has never coached college football without his sons -- Shedeur and Shilo -- on his roster. Shedeur was drafted in the fifth round by the Cleveland Browns, while Shilo signed a free agent contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Deion Sanders dove into his recent health issues during a news conference on Monday. The Colorado head coach, along with his medical team, revealed he recently had a successful bladder tumor removal, and he is now “cured from the cancer.”
