Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic’s house in Texas was broken into Friday, making him the sixth known professional athlete targeted in a string of recent home burglaries. The FBI warns pro athletes to remain vigilant and increase security around their homes.

Around $30,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from Dallas Mavericks guard Luka Doncic’s home on Friday, the Dallas Morning News reported.

The home of Tyler Seguin, a longtime Dallas Stars leader and seven-time NHL All-Star, was burglarized last month. This is the second burglary of a high-profile athlete in North Texas and the latest in a string of break-ins affecting top-notch professional players.

The break-in at Doncic’s Dallas-area residence follows similar incidents at the homes of NBA and NFL stars such as Jaylen Brown, Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow.

Luka Doncic was a victim of burglary over the weekend. CNN reports that around $30,000 worth of jewelry was stolen from his home between 5 p.m. and 9 p.m. on Friday. Dallas police arrived at the scene at around 10:30 p.

Doncic, 25, who is from Slovenia, is the sixth known pro athlete in the U.S. whose home was burglarized since October. Star NFL quarterbacks Patrick Mahomes of Kansas City and Joe Burrow of Cincinnati are among them, along with Mahomes’ tight end, Travis Kelce.

A person with knowledge of the injury says Dallas Mavericks superstar Luka Doncic will be out about a month before being re-evaluated for a calf injury sustained in a Christmas Day loss to Minnesota.
