The Atlanta Falcons officially signed kicker Zane Gonzalez to their 53-man roster on Wednesday, releasing defensive lineman Ta'Quon Graham in a corresponding move. The team will look to Gonzalez to start in Week 10 against the Indianapolis Colts after releasing Parker Romo on Tuesday.

The Colts are the unexpected success of this year's season -- at 7-2 they are tied for the most wins entering Week 10 and lead the league in several offensive categories. And, as of Tuesday's trade deadline, their defense got a big lift when Indy traded for two-time All-Pro CB Sauce Gardner.

Falcons defensive back Dee Alford has been a target for a torrent of online abuse, but he's fighting back on the field this year.

"UPS Flight 2976 crashed around 5:15 p.m. local time on Tuesday, Nov. 4, after departing from Louisville Muhammad Ali International Airport in Kentucky," the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. The FAA said the plane was scheduled to fly to Honolulu.
