Chelsea have been urged to pull out of their deal for £61m transfer target Xavi Simons. The Blues are in advanced talks with RB Leipzig after agreeing personal terms with Netherlands attacker Simons. Ajax appear to have paved the way for defender Jorrel Hato to join Chelsea this summer. Hato has long been linked with a move to the Premier League having previously been on the radar of Arsenal and Liverpool, if reports are to be believed.

Chelsea have not engaged in any talks with Al Nassr, whose interest in the players is “not confirmed”, but it won’t matter if the Blues want to tie down Cucurella anyway. Dutch teenager Jorrel Hato is on the verge of joining Chelsea from Ajax and will be considered both Cucurella’s backup and an option in the centre of defence.
