Chris Kreider has known for months that his long, decorated tenure with the New York Rangers would probably end this summer. While the close of his run on Broadway is undeniably bittersweet, he's also thrilled to raise the curtain on his next chapter on the West Coast.

Kreider and Mika Zibanejad have been teammates for nearly a decade and have developed a strong friendship throughout that time. In an emotional post on Instagram, Zibanejad thanked Kreider for the special time they spent together and wished him luck on the next chapter of his career with the Anaheim Ducks.
