Netflix will hike prices across the board on its U.S. customers by between $1 and $2.50 per month, banking on the appeal of a new season of Stranger Things to draw in more audiences.

Netflix Inc. closed 2024 with its biggest quarterly subscriber gain in history, buoyed by its first major live sporting events and the return of Squid Game.

Netflix subscribers will see a noticeable jump in their monthly subscription fees, as the streaming company revels in new viewership. In a letter to shareholders on Tuesday, the company announced it increased prices across most plans in the U.S., Canada, Portugal and Argentina.
