Home and away opponents have been set for the 2025-26 NFL season since the conclusion of last season, but the timing of each of those matchups (as well as bye weeks) remains uncertain. That all changes this week, as the NFL is set to release the schedule for the 2025 season in several installments, leading up to the final reveal on Wednesday.

The Vikings and Broncos have each played on Christmas a total of four times. Minnesota is 1–3 in those games and Denver is 2–2. Neither of the two played well during their last Christmas appearance, with the Vikings losing to the Saints 52–33 in 2020 and the Broncos getting crushed by the Rams 51–14 in 2022.

In recent years, the NFL has expanded the Thanksgiving slate, adding a third game, and just as recently as 2020, Christmas Day games have become a staple. The two holidays will feature six more games this season, so here they are, ranked from No. 6 to No. 1.

The NFL will reveal its complete 2025 schedule on Wednesday night at 7 p.m. Central time on NFL Network, NFL.com, the NFL app and the NFL+ streaming service. Several games have already been announced,
