Sony has announced that it will increase the recommended retail price of the PlayStation 5 in the US. In a post on the official PlayStation Blog, the manufacturer stated that "a challenging economic environment" has led to the "difficult decision" of increasing the price of all PS5 consoles by $50.
PlayStation has followed suit with Nintendo and Microsoft, upping its console pricing. So how do these gaming systems stack up now?
With Indiana Jones confirmed for the Switch 2, new reports indicate that Bethesda could also be bringing Starfield to the Nintendo Switch 2 next year.
NateTheHate also claimed that Starfield is indeed coming to PlayStation 5, as rumors have persisted since the RPG's 2023 release. A separate report from this month alleges that Starfield will release on PS5 in the spring of 2026.
