The Seattle Sounders were eliminated from the MLS Cup Playoffs in a wild 10-round penalty kick shootout loss to Minnesota United on Saturday afternoon.

While Seattle tied it at 3-3 in the 88th minute, Minnesota outlasted Seattle in 10 rounds of penalty kicks at Allianz Field and advance to the Western Conference semifinal. The Loons will play the winner of the San Diego-Portland series on Nov. 22 or 23; Game 3 in that series is Sunday night.
