A potential ‘weather bomb’ is on the cards for Northern Ireland, as Storm Floris is predicted to hit. The Met Office has warned of unseasonable ‘disruptive’ conditions on the way. The storm is expected to hit the six counties from 6am on Monday until early on Tuesday.

The UK is bracing for Storm Floris to hit on Monday, with northern Eangland and Scotland set to be hit the hardest, with possible winds of up to 85mph.

Storm Floris will bring "unseasonably strong and potentially disruptive winds" to Scotland, Northern Ireland, Wales and the North of England on Monday, the Met Office has said. A yellow weather warning will come into force at 06:00 on Monday and remain in place until 06:00 on Tuesday.
