Top lightweights Justin Gaethje and Rafael Fiziev met in a short-notice fight in the co-main event of UFC 313. Headlined by a light heavyweight title bout between Alex Pereira and Magomed Ankalaev, UFC 313 was also originally supposed to feature a matchup between Gaethje and #6-ranked lightweight contender Dan Hooker.

Justin Gaethje outworked and outgunned Rafael Fiziev to win a hard-fought unanimous decision in UFC 313's short-notice rematch.

Mauricio Ruffy may have locked up Knockout of the Year just two minutes into the UFC 313 main card. Ruffy scored a highlight-reel spinning kick to the head of King Green, sending him down and out to kick off Saturday's pay-per-view from T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
