Shishkova and Naumov had traveled to Wichita with a group of skaters from the Skating Club of Boston in Norwood to take part in the U.S. Figure Skating Championships. Their son, Maxim, 23, who is a member of the U.S. figure skating team, had traveled with his parents, but had left Kansas earlier in the week, according to Reuters.
