Fresh off her best new artist win at this year's Grammys, Chappell Roan continued her reign as music's rising star with a showstopping appearance at Valentino's Le Méta-Théâtre des Intimités show during Paris Fashion Week on Sunday.

Models emerged from toilet stalls and celebrities posed by sinks after Valentino’s Alessandro Michele transformed his Paris Fashion Week venue into an atmospheric tiled restroom.

For Michele, the public toilet was more than a backdrop — it was a space where boundaries dissolve, a setting charged with meaning. He described it as a “counter-place” that blurs distinctions between public and private, intimacy and exposure, transforming the mundane into something profoundly symbolic.

The creative director held the house’s Fall show inside a dystopian, David Lynchian reconstruction of a public bathroom. The space was awash in a red light, and the walls were flanked by basic sinks and mirrors as well as doors to toilet stalls.
