Authorities say the tow truck operator was loading a vehicle on I-94 when he was struck by a blue minivan. The driver didn't stop after the collision.

Hussain Farhat, 40, was fatally struck Dec. 24 in the Village of Summit while assisting a disabled vehicle on eastbound I-94.

The tow truck driver who was hit by a minivan and later died on Dec. 24 in Waukesha County has now been identified, and a suspect is now in custody, according to the Waukesha County Sheriff's Office. The sheriff's office said the tow truck driver has been identified as Hussain Farhat, an employee of Yaffo Towing, which is out of Chicago, Illinois.
