Carnival Cruise Line and the Miami HEAT were quick to step up to support immediate emergency aid for Jamaica in the wake of Hurricane Melissa.

There are no itinerary changes yet for Carnival ships due to Tropical Storm Melissa, but guests should stay alert for potential updates.

According to the industry site CruiseHive, the storm has forced several ships to alter their itineraries and cancel port calls in the affected islands, including MSC's flagship, the World America; and Royal Caribbean's Icon of the Seas, current record-holder for world's largest cruise ship ( and the white whale for Galveston's port officials ).

Carnival Cruise Line has announced plans to sail from more homeports in Australia and New Zealand in its 2027 and 2028 season. The cruise line will continue year-round sailings from Sydney and Brisbane in addition to adding two new ports in Adelaide and Aukland.

Higher internet prices are being noticed for Carnival Cruise Line, with all packages showing significant increases.
