The iconic Empire State Building glowed in Philadelphia Eagles' green after the Birds beat the Washington Commanders in the NFC Championship Game. And, the folks over at the legendary skyscraper were not too happy about it.

The Empire State Building previously dazzled with Eagles colors following the team’s 2023 NFC championship victory — and it was controversial.

After the Philadelphia Eagles advanced to the Super Bowl by defeating the Washington Commanders 55-23 in the NFC Championship, the Empire State Building was lit with Eagles' green and white to honor the New York Giants' biggest rival. The official Empire State Building page on X then addressed the choice in a self-aware post.
