John Mateer and the Oklahoma Sooners (1-0) are in action on Saturday at 7:30 p.m. ET versus the Michigan Wolverines (1-0) at Gaylord Family Oklahoma Memorial Stadium.

John Mateer ran for two touchdowns and passed for another, and No. 18 Oklahoma defeated No. 15 Michigan 24-13 on Saturday night.

While he had an unspectacular showing in the box score — 9-of-24 for 142 yards — the freshman showed some moments of comfort and the ability to make plays.
