With Anya Taylor-Joy hosting the season finale of Saturday Night Live, many expected her to reprise her hugely popular — and award-winning — role from the limited series, chess prodigy Beth Harmon.

The video, dubbed “Backstage Pitches”, sees Taylor-Joy being prompted with The Queen’s Gambit-related sketch ideas from cast members including Kate McKinnon, Ego Nwodim, Aidy Bryant, and Beck Bennett.
