Khaby Lame, the man who has become the most-followed TikTok star, is heading back home to Italy after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on June 6, according to reports.
Khaby Lame, the world’s most popular TikTok personality with millions of followers, has left the U.S. after being detained by immigration agents in Las Vegas for allegedly overstaying his visa.
Lame, 25, is a current citizen of Italy and reportedly “overstayed the terms of his visa,” ICE reported.
Khaby Lame, famous for his silently hilarious TikTok persona, was detained by immigration officers last week, according to U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement.
Khaby Lame, an Italian Senegalese TikToker who is one of the most followed creators on the app, was detained and granted “voluntary departure” from the U.S., according to ICE officials.
Lame, 25, is a current citizen of Italy and reportedly "overstayed the terms of his visa," ICE reported.
Khaby Lame was detained by the ICE in Las Vegas on June 6 for immigration violations, PEOPLE can confirm. He has since left the United States.
