Khaby Lame, the man who has become the most-followed TikTok star, is heading back home to Italy after being detained by U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) on June 6, according to reports.

Was Khaby Lane detained by ICE? According to published reports, global social media star Khaby Lame was detained by ICE agents this week, before he ultimately decided to leave the county.

Khaby Lame, an Italian Senegalese TikToker who is one of the most followed creators on the app, was detained and granted “voluntary departure” from the U.S., according to ICE officials.

Lame, 25, is a current citizen of Italy and reportedly “overstayed the terms of his visa,” ICE reported.
