WASHINGTONVILLE – A Fleece to Shawl Competition will be held Aug. 15 during the 77th annual Montour-DeLong Community Fair.

The fleece then is passed off to three spinners, who turn it into thread, and the last team member uses a loom to weave the thread into a finished shawl.
