On Wednesday, MLB .com's Thomas Harrigan cooked up a mock trade in which the Tigers would acquire starter Mitch Keller and reliever David Bednar from the Pirates for four prospects: shortstop Bryce Rainer, outfielder Cris Rodriguez, second baseman Max Anderson, and pitcher Jake Miller.

The Detroit Tigers are reportedly targeting bullpen help, and this Pittsburgh Pirates reliever would be an anchor in the Detroit bullpen.

One of whom is two-time All-Star closer David Bednar, who The Athletic’s Stephen J. Nesbitt predicts will no longer be a Pirate after Thursday.
