Shota Imanaga’s recovery and rehab process will be measured in weeks, not days, as the Chicago Cubs cautiously handle the injury.

The Chicago Cubs are going to be cautious with Shota Imanaga while the left-hander recovers from his first hamstring injury. Imanaga was placed on the 15-day injured list on Monday with a mild strained left hamstring.

More on Imanaga- Craig Counsell said he will be evaluated after two weeks and the ramping up of his rehab will be easier to project. Counsell confirmed that medically it’s considered a grade 1 strain. Cubs wise ,they will be more cautious on return for obvious reasons.
