An update on Thursday indicated that 2025 fifth-round draft pick Shedeur Sanders remained fourth on the Cleveland Browns' quarterback depth chart behind Week 1 starter Joe Flacco, presumed backup Kenny Pickett and 2025 third-rounder Dillon Gabriel. That said, it seems Sanders has provided more than some accurate passes to his teammates.

On Monday, the Cleveland Browns officially named Joe Flacco as their starting quarterback for Week 1 of the 2025 NFL season, when they will face the Cincinnati Bengals.

Joe Flacco: “Business as usual. You keep your head down, try to have a good camp. “I don’t know if I was very emotional about it but listen, you don’t take for granted opportunities in this league.”
