Omar Speights is really coming into his own as a starting linebacker next to Christian Rozeboom. He was outstanding against the run and while he still needs to improve in coverage, he’s playing at a high level. Speights was the Rams’ highest-graded defender in the game, according to PFF.

It was not a great week for the underdog in Week 17 in the NFL. Only 4 underdogs -- the Chicago Bears, Arizona Cardinals, New York Giants and Jacksonvile Jaguars -- covered the spread and only the Giants and Jaguars won their games outright.
