An "innocent bystander" at the "No Kings" demonstration in downtown Salt Lake City was shot and killed Saturday, police said

A 16-year-old boy shot five people in a confrontation between two groups at a carnival in a Salt Lake City suburb Sunday, killing three of them including an 8-month-old infant. Police say the teenager shot at the other group at the WestFest carnival in West Valley City.

An estimated 10,000 people were peacefully marching in downtown Salt Lake City when shots rang out, killing an "innocent bystander," police said.
