French police arrested a student after he allegedly killed another student in a stabbing attack at his private Catholic school in Nantes.

A teenage girl has been killed and three students were injured in a stabbing at a private school in western France. The attack took place at Notre-Dame-de-Toutes-Aides school in Nantes on Thursday afternoon. The attacker is said to have been arrested at the scene after being restrained by a teacher.

French police say a high school student stabbed four other students at his school, killing one and wounding three.
