Washington Commanders wide receiver Terry McLaurin has requested a trade, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter. McLaurin, who is seeking a contract extension with one year left on his current deal, reported to training camp Sunday to end his holdout but was placed on the physically unable to perform list because of an ankle injury.

McLaurin has played for Washington since 2019, amassing more than a thousand receiving yards each season in a Commanders uniform outside of his rookie campaign. He tallied 1,096 yards and 13 touchdowns in the 2024 regular season as then-rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels ascended into superstardom.

While projecting each team's most notable trade chips, an NFL expert recently predicted that Terry McLaurin's trade value is currently not in a great spot.
