Victor Wembanyama is tapping into his inner monk. As part of an offseason excursion to China, the 7-foot-4 Spurs center is taking part in a 10-day retreat at the 1,500-year-old Shaolin Temple.

The Frenchman has not yet posted anything about it on social media. On Monday, the Shaolin Temple, told CNN “We are not aware of this” when asked about Wembanyama staying there.

Victor Wembanyama, the 21-year-old Spurs star, is in “closed-door martial arts training,” an employee at Shaolin Temple in China told NBC News.
