Jaylen Brown, Kristaps Porzingis and Sam Hauser are questionable for the Boston Celtics on Wednesday against the Detroit Pistons.

The Celtics will get a boost in their rotation for a showdown against the Lakers on Saturday night as Jrue Holiday and Sam Hauser were upgraded from questionable to available about an hour before tip.

Hauser did not play in Boston's 123-105 win over Philadelphia on Thursday due to a sprained right ankle. He was able to participate in pregame warmups Saturday and has been given the green light to return.

In their last outing without Holiday and Porzingis, Boston decided to start Sam Hauser with Luke Kornet, but on Sunday they started Al Horford alongside Kornet, going with a bigger lineup against the Nuggets.

With Jrue Holiday (rest) and Al Horford (toe) sidelined, Hauser will slide into the starting five. The sharpshooter has started in nine outings this season, during which he has averaged 11.4 points, 3.

Hauser (ankle) is listed as questionable for Saturday's game versus the Lakers, Taylor Snow of the Celtics' official site reports. Hauser is in danger of missing his second straight contest Saturday due to a sprained right ankle.
