Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Tulsi Gabbard and Kash Patel are expected to be grilled by senators during their confirmation hearings.

Senators pressed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. on his past vaccine and abortion remarks in the first of two days of hearings before senators vote on whether to confirm him as President Trump’s health secretary.

Sen. Angus King also pressed Tulsi Gabbard, who has been nominated by Trump to oversee national intelligence, on her past support for Edward Snowden, who leaked classified details of U.S. surveillance in 2013.
