As the number of coaching candidates the Jets interview seems to grow by the hour, you have to wonder if Mike Tannenbaum and Rick Spielman are getting paid hourly.

Flores is the 13th coaching candidate to meet with the Jets, who are also expected to speak to Vikings quarterbacks coach Josh McCown and Green Bay Packers defensive coordinator Jeff Hafley.

Brian Flores interviewed for the Jets’ head-coaching position on Friday and could be a strong candidate for the job. The former Dolphins head coach has more than 20 years of NFL experience. He has been Minnesota’s defensive coordinator since 2023 and employs a blitz-heavy scheme.

It’s been awhile since I have written about the New York Jets. After all last season was an absolute disaster and with the Jets firing their GM & Head Coach midseason (The right decision by the way) the goal was to get a new one.

ESPN's Adam Schefter broke the news earlier today that the Jets are signing former Lions defensive coordinator Aaron Glenn as their next head coach. New York reached new lows this past season after finishing the year with a 5-12 record while rostering a team with enough talent for a potential Super Bowl run.

Aaron Glenn, who oversaw the Detroit Lions defense the last four years, beat out 15 other candidates for the New York Jets head coaching job.
