With spring training well underway for the Houston Astros, the team is gearing up for what they hope will be a good season. After a plethora of player movement this winter, it’s hard to predict what type of team the Astros are going to be in 2025.

Breakout showcase returns with 16 games across the Cactus League and Grapefruit League from March 13-16. Among MLB Pipeline’s Top 100 Prospects, 72 are on team rosters for Spring Breakout games, including 20 of the top 30.

Smith, who the Astros acquired in December's blockbuster trade of Kyle Tucker, bashed not one, but two home runs in Tuesday's contest against the New York Mets in West Palm Beach, Florida. Smith went opposite way to right field with a line-drive home run in the bottom of the sixth, then smacked a towering shot to right-center field.
