Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand waited for three hours — until two players cleared waivers for the Lightning — before they could be informed they were heading to Tampa Bay as the main pieces of a three-team trade that also included the Red Wings.

After advancing to back-to-back-to-back Stanley Cup Finals between 2020-22 -- and winning two of them -- the Lightning are going all in again.

The Tampa Bay Lightning went all-in, acquiring Yanni Gourde and Oliver Bjorkstrand in a deal with the Seattle Kraken.
