Sam Vecenie of The Athletic recently put together his NBA Trade Board and named the Cavaliers as a fit for Utah forward John Collins. Cleveland desperately needs more forward depth, especially after the recent injuries to Caris Levert and Isaac Okoro. Collins could be an intriguing option for the front office to pursue.

The Oklahoma City Thunder will take on the Utah Jazz on Wednesday, followed by the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday in back-to-back home games.

Two-time NBA All-Star Isaiah Thomas is making another attempt at a return. According to ESPN Senior NBA Insider Shams Charania, Thomas signed into the G-League on Monday and will be joining the Utah Jazz's affiliate, the Salt Lake City Stars. Charania reported that Thomas is expected to make his debut for the Stars sometime this week.

“Two-time All-Star Isaiah Thomas is pursuing another NBA return, signing into the G League and rejoining the Utah Jazz 's Salt Lake City affiliate, sources tell ESPN,” Charania shared on X (formerly Twitter). “Last season, Thomas averaged 33 points in four G League games en route to a call-up to the Suns.”

The Dallas Mavericks are seeking a few different upgrades ... the Mavericks have been connected to Utah Jazz guard Jordan Clarkson, the Sixth Man of the Year winner in 2021.

All things considered, the Dallas Mavericks have done a good job staying afloat in the Western Conference despite the injury to their five-time All-Star.

The Dallas Mavericks head to Spectrum Center to face the Charlotte Hornets in a non-conference matchup. The Mavericks are 22-19, which puts them in seventh place in the Western Conference. The Hornets are 9-28, which puts them in 14th place in the Eastern Conference.
