Ottawa Senators goaltender Anton Forsberg got back in the win column on Sunday in his victory over the New Jersey Devils. The 32-year-old netminder stopped 25 of the 26 shots he faced. His lone blemish came in the second period when Tomas Tatar scored his fourth goal of the season on a backhand.

Seth Jarvis had two goals and sparked the Carolina Hurricanes' big second period in a 7-4 victory against the Columbus Blue Jackets on Thursday in Raleigh, N.C. Sebastian Aho and Jarvis both had a goal and two assists in the five-goal second.

Ottawa took a 2-1 lead 2:50 into the third period when Artem Zub wristed a shot through a bunch a bodies that got past New Jersey goalie Jacob Markstrom, who came into the game with a 21-8-5 record and 2.20 goals-against average. The Senators held the Devils to just three shots in the third period.
