A soccer tournament with the top professional teams from around the world starts Saturday, June 14, at stadiums across the U.S. Judging by ticket sales, however, fans don't seem excited about the Club World Cup.

The revamped Club World Cup gets underway on Saturday in Miami, amid a mixture of excitement, skepticism and concerns verging from ticket sales to players’ welfare.

Of course, the declining number of tourists coming to the U.S. since the second inauguration of Donald Trump – and the president’s recently announced travel ban affecting 19 countries – hasn’t helped encourage fans of the global game to the U.S., even if none of the competing clubs come from one of those countries.

A year from the largest World Cup ever, there has been no announcement on general ticket sales, prices for most seats, location of a draw or security arrangements.
