Saturday Night Live’s 50th season continues with a new episode on Saturday, March 8. Lady Gaga will serve as both host and musical guest during the live show. The performance comes one day after the singer released her new album “Mayhem” on Friday, March 7.

NBC’s official description for this new episode 15 of Saturday Night LIVE season 50 reads like this, “On March 8, Lady Gaga will do double duty for the second time, marking her second appearance as host and fifth appearance as musical guest. The Grammy and Academy Award winner’s newest album, “MAYHEM,” is due out March 7.”

Some social users heavily criticized the skit and appeared to take it more seriously than it had likely been intended.
