Brock Lesnar made a shocking return at SumnmerSlam 2025. The former WWE Champion attacked John Cena after his main event match against Cody Rhodes. Lesnar had been away from WWE since SummerSlam 2023.

Rhodes outlasted John Cena in a lengthy, hard-fought SummerSlam Night 2 main event on Sunday to regain the championship he lost to Cena at WrestleMania. But it was Brock Lesnar's return to WWE after the main event that will be the main talking point for many.

Cody Rhodes was able to defeat John Cena for the Undisputed Championship in the main event of WWE's "SummerSlam." The two-day event took place over the weekend.
