Who pops on Dennis Esser's model for the second major of the year? A lot of golfers are hitting their stride just in time.

The PGA Tour heads to Charlotte for the second major of the year, the PGA Championship. The host venue this week will be Quail Hollow Club, host of the 2017 PGA Championship and the annual event now known as the Truist Championship (held last week in Philadelphia with Quail’s major hosting duties).

Patrick Reed has only played one PGA tournament this year. The American golfer gained a wildcard to enter The Masters. Naturally, Reed almost won the event. He finished T-3 and finished an impressive 69-69 given the conditions and his form.

We all know Rory is heading to his most successful, lucrative, favorite, fill-in-your-favorite-adjective-here golf course in Quail Hollow for this week’s PGA Championship, but will the Augusta win weigh him down?
